Congratulations and Welcome to Rahul and Anita

With the new academic term approaching, we are thrilled to share some incredible news and welcome new members to our team.

We are excited to congratulate Rahul on receiving the Queen Elizabeth II Graduate Scholarship in Science and Technology (QEII-GSST) and Anita on receiving the Ontario Graduate Scholarship. These prestigious merit-based awards were created to encourage excellence in graduate studies, and reflect both students’ dedication and academic achievements.

In addition to celebrating these awards, we would like to formally welcome Rahul and Anita as Master’s students in Epidemiology with the Department of Public Health Sciences. In our lab Rahul will begin developing an early warning system for hospitalized decompensated cirrhosis, while Anita will be focusing on palliative care utilization amongst decompensated cirrhosis patients. 

We look forward to seeing all they will accomplish this year!
