Transforming Liver Care (TLC) brings together our clinical research lab group with collaborators.  We are dedicated to improving outcomes for people with chronic liver disease. By integrating epidemiology, clinical practice, and system-level healthcare improvement, we prioritize questions that can generate actionable evidence and measurable, real-world impact.

 

Our lab focuses on patients living with decompensated cirrhosis and autoimmune liver diseases.

Using data sources that include health administrative data, electronic health records, clinical cohorts, and patient-reported outcomes, our work aims to:

• Improve patient-relevant outcomes

• Identify disparities in care delivery and outcomes

• Translate insights from real-world data into scalable interventions addressing care delivery, management strategies, and treatments
